The text is in English, with an accessible piano part simplified from earlier (C19th) piano reductions by the arranger.
This arrangement translates Beethoven’s original four-part choral writing into a new, three-part texture suitable for boys’ changing voices.
The arrangement is in the original key (G minor) and can be performed with orchestra/instrumental ensemble using original/pre-existing scores and parts.
Following Beethoven’s original score, this arrangement includes (optional) solos for C1/C2 (G3 – E4) and C2/Bar (E3 – B3) voices.
